Towards a healthy life

what is health?

Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of evil or disease.
 
The lifestyle, that is, the type of habits and customs that a person possesses, can be beneficial to health, but it can also damage or influence it negatively. For example, Mariana exercises and feeds healthy. she must comply with her good daily habits, otherwise she could get sick.



What is recommended breakfast, lunch and snack?

Eating healthy protects you from serious diseases, stimulates taste buds, helps increase your productivity, energy, balances your body and makes you happier.
Here is a plan for the five meals a day:
  • Breakfast: Eat carbohydrates for energy during the day, such as: a slice of whole wheat bread or baguette. Also: some cereals or oatmeal, some fresh fruits, whole wheat toast, etc.
For example: A slice of whole wheat bread with some cheese, hard boiled or scrambled eggs, coffee, tea or milk.
  • Midmorning: In the middle of the morning it is up to eat a snack at approximately 11:00. Fresh, dried fruit or energy bars. 

For example: Eat a few walnuts, almonds, peanuts, apples or dried fruits such as pitahaya in small portions.
  • Lunch: Lunch is the biggest meal of the day, so it is there that you should consume 50% of the calories. Eat vegetables, a little bit of rice, potatoes, pasta or some beans, soy derivatives, fish, chicken, meat, among others.
For example: Tuna salad and small portion of rice, without oil.

  • Mid afternoon: Chop between 16:00 and 17:00 a snack is advisable. Fresh and dried fruits provide potassium.
For example: An apple, some grapes, a pear, peanut, quinoa cereal.
The specialists recommend to consume according to the measure of the fist or the palm of the hand.


  • Dinner: One of the biggest mistakes you make is having dinner after 20:00, which does not allow for proper digestion. The advisable thing will be to have dinner three hours before sleeping so that they can metabolize the ingested foods and burn part of them.
For example: Tuna salad or other white meats such as shrimp or chicken with vegetables.
If we had decided to take care of ourselves from the beginning, we could have avoided many diseases.


What you can do to maintain your health

  • You must eat healthy
  • You should exercise regularly
  • If you are overweight, you have to lose weight
  • You need to protect your skin
  • You mustn't smoke 
If only most people followed these recommendations, we would avoid many diseases.
